#23 Is this really the end? Or just the beginning ...

Hi peoples

Wow I am at the end of the road, i got here in one piece (just!). Well it has been an experience I must say now to answer the few questions for this blog.

My favourite part of Web 2.0 has been Week 5 play week. It was fun as you can tell i think i used all the image generators i could and then added them to my blog lol.

This program has given me so many new ideas for the library that i can keep learning with it is a great idea. Thanks.

I never realised how many things were on the net that i could use for projects and just for fun ofcourse.

I have lots of things to continue doing with all the exercises now that I have finished Web 2.0.

So in closing thank you very much to all the organisers and managers for allowing us to do this program. Good luck to everyone who hasn't finished you have lots to look forward to and congratulations to everyone who has finished.

Not much left to do. I looked at the websight and had fun listening to some stories but i could not get into the video format ones oh well good luck to all of you with that one. I listened to Repunzel (how cute. I have used this before lol wow something that i have actually used.

#21 Podcasts, Smodcasts!

Hi guys

This week is a good one, I have looked and listened to some interesting podcasts i added one to my blog its the song 'Give it to Me' by Timberland, Nelly and Justin. I love this song so now you know. lol.

I also added it to my blogline it is under "Odeo Crissy's page" and my blog lol ( i think?)

#20 You too can YouTube

hi again

Woo hoo i am into the last week of the 2.0 training yeah i thought i would never make it! LOL

Well it was very interesting to look through the YouTube sight i found a lot of funny videos and some not so funny ones(i mean seriously babies falling and babies giggling for 5 minutes? Come on!!!) Anyway enough whinging from me.

The YouTube video that i added to my blog is Walking Her Home (Notebook Montage)

As for what I think would be interesting if any features or componets of the site were applied to library websites, well if you look at the above link then you will see that YouTube has something called "videos being watched right now", in the library website we could have "books being read right now" for popular books that are borrowed. Then YouTube has "Promoted videos" for new videos coming out, we could have "Promoted books" for new books coming out.

#19 Discovering Web 2.0 tools

Hi Guys,

I am having a lot of fun trying out some of the Web 2.0 winners. I tried the winner of the book category lulu.com that was fun. Then I tried winner of the games category Arcaplay and added a game to my blog called Why the chicken crossed the road. Then the from the fun stuff caegory the cocktail buider now that was agood one you just write in the different drinks you have at home and it makes a drink for you. I will be trying some more and getting back to u.

#17 Playing around with PBWiki!

Wow I played around with the PB Wiki and it was fun fun fun. I added my favourite book Dark Prince to the favourite books blog and I also added my blog to the favourite blog page under Australian blogs. I enjoyed this activity more than I thought I would. Not Bad Huh?

#16 so what's a wiki.

Hi every1

I am just getting into wiki's now, i mean i have read some wiki's before but have never actually tried to change them myself thinking that the information was just there to be read. I always complained if the informaion was wrong but now i know better ha ha! Not that i have tampered with any yet. But if i now see something i dissagree with in a wiki then i will change it to what i think is right. So there! lol.

While looking at the wiki's that were recomended i found that most of them needed a login to actually be able to edit which is better because at least there will be someone to blame if they give the wrong information lol.

I am trying to figure out Del.icio.us and Technorati and am actually having a bit of fun with it. Well OK not fun but i am getting through it somehow. lol. I am liking Technorati better than Del.icio.us because the layout is more user friendly. I still need some more time to do more in deapth searches. But i will get back to u about it.

#10, 11, 12 ha ha i have caught up (i think)

Hi guys

I am defenitely loving this weeks activity, i have a lot of fun. I went into the Generator blog and i think i tried everything in that blog (groan) crazy but heaps of fun. Some of the image generators were not able to work but you can look at the ones that worked on my side panel.

Now Library thing was very interesting as i think i added all Christine Feehan'Library things books that i could find so that was fun as she is my favourite author at hte moment and you can look at those in my side panel aswell.

Ok one more to go and that is........Rollyo wow i think i lost the plot with this one trying to find all the the websites that i wanted in my Rollyo and then they were all up and i was relieved. lol

So that was #10, #11 and #12 tell me what you think.

Hi everyone i have been doing the rss and the bloglines stuff for the past week and i was soooo confused for pretty much the whole time lol. It was excruciating for me to figure out what was going on but i think i got it in the end (maybe). You tell me how i went by looking at my Bloglines account. Happy Searching and all that ....stuff lol.

From TAFE Today

Hi guys

Today i am at TAFE library and we are stock taking the whole collection. It is very tiring and but we are using inventory scanners that make it quicker and they beep and vibrate when you scan an item. lol.

So all i can hear at the moment is beep, beep, beep it is quite anoying actually, i think when i finish work today i will still hear the noise till tomorrow when it will start all over again. (groan) lol.

Hi again as the title says just anther day in the world, what beautiful day it is here in Melbourne lol If you haven't been to Melbourne then let me tell you, the weather changes every few minutes so half the time you are wearing a t-shirt / singlet, you carry a jacket and an umbrella and it is 35 Celcius. Anyway today it is Sunday and I am working again (groan). Hope everyone has a better day and think about it i haven't got much to complain about i have my health and my family and freinds and a home to live in. Thank you God. Everyone have a great weekend. Well so far i haven't lost it yet. Any way got to say that it has been an interesting few hours. Today is Sat ofcourse and i am @ work what a drag.
